Prompt: intersection between AI, crypto, and the internet --ar 4:7

“We cannot choose our external circumstances, but we can always choose how we respond to them.” ~ Epictetus

A builder and indie maker at heart, this blog is a place to pen down my thoughts on the technology space in general and to practice a habit of writing.

Over the past ten years, I've built startups and projects across diverse industries, from maritime to lifestyle and travel, and more recently to the blockchain space with dApps related to Decentralised Finance (DeFi) and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).

I've learnt many lessons along the way, from the few successes and things that worked and much more from the failures and uncountable mistakes. In future, I plan to write these down and share some insights with readers worldwide.

My Background

I started with a humanities background in English Literature, History, and Economics in Junior College before studying Quantitative Economics with a Finance major for my bachelor's. Personally, though, I lean more towards microeconomics with my areas of interest in game theory, moral hazard, and asymmetric information.

Along my startup journey, programming became my most essential skill with its ability to transform ideas into reality, from sketches to products.

My main full-stack preference is the TALL stack (Tailwind, Alpine, Laravel, Livewire). For blockchain development, I am most familiar with PascaLIGO (for the Tezos blockchain), followed by Solidity.

And as is often necessary working in startups, I picked up other skills in marketing, product design, UI/UX, business strategy, and all sorts of miscellaneous know-how.

While balancing and juggling multiple hats is challenging, I look forward to learning more in different or deeper areas nevertheless. After all, the fun part is in combining various knowledge bases and skills to gain new insights and build something both unique and useful.
